US county-level population and density data from the Bureau of the Census (obtained using the tidycensus
R package)
Population data from the United Nations data portal, specifically the population file, which contains the percentage of the population over age 59.

For example, on November 21, the confirmed
data from usafacts
transposed the totals for Jefferson Parish and Jefferson Davis Parish, which has less than 1/10 the population. State totals remained accurate.↩︎
